Our mission is to help empower rural communities to become models for sustainable living by providing access to education, information and hands-on learning opportunities focused on our three pillars: environmental sustainability, rural economic sustainability and social diversity.
We are results driven. We act with conviction to develop programs and communications to help find solutions for rural communities. NNEEC has many projects under development in the areas of research focused on environmental sustainability, as well as economic viability of industry and business, including pilot project testing.
We are committed to a culture of collaboration by actively engaging with our communities. This includes the development of rural Canada sustainability model and partnership programs, and outreach programs to indigenous groups.
